Two weeks ago Apple released the first minor version of iOS 11, the iOS 11.0.1 version, which came to polish small details. But with the passage of the days have been detecting new problems, and Apple has decided to launch today iOS 11.0.2, correcting some errors that especially affected the new iPhone.
According to Apple’s changelog, the update addresses a problem that caused some iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus users to hear static noise from the back-end handset during phone calls and FaceTime calls.
The bug, described by users as “very annoying”, was first discovered shortly after the release of iOS 11, and by late September, Apple said it was working on fixing it.
On the other hand, other small problems that could cause the images of the Photo Library to be hidden at random have also been corrected. A problem that caused emails with encrypted attachments to not display correctly has also been resolved.
The update, as usual, is available for all iPhone and iPad compatible with iOS 11, it will appear in Settings > General > Software Update.
If it has not appeared yet, wait a few moments, as it will gradually reach all users in the next few hours.
