Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Gets PS4 Pro Support

There may not be a new Assassin’s Creed release this year, but Ubisoft has just given us an excellent reason to go back and look into playing Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, at least for PlayStation owners.

The newest patch for the game, update 1.5, apparently adds PS4 Pro support to the game.

What support has been added seems to be minimal- the game supports 4K resolutions on PS4 Pro (albeit likely not native), although it doesn’t seem like playing it on a 1080p screen really does much at first glance.

As a matter of fact, some NeoGAF users are reporting that the game actually runs at just 900p on the Pro, with only the HUD rendering in higher resolutions- so the PS4 Pro update is certainly not working as intended.

Hopefully, this is a problem that is resolved soon, because having a game run that poorly on a system that is the most powerful console in the world is frankly a bit ridiculous.
