Asus is likely to announce some Windows notebooks on the MWC 2017 again. One of these could be the new ZenBook Pro, which is to be given a new edition after two years of waiting.

ASUS ZenBook Pro

Asus ZenBook Pro: Slim high-end notebook Powerful notebooks that have a good dedicated graphics card are often not very compact. This is to change with the upcoming Asus ZenBook Pro.

It is to be the thinnest 15.6-inch notebook, which is equipped with the dedicated graphics card Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060.

The Intel Quad-Core Processor is the ideal solution so that the performance with the 4K display is good. Although the GTX 1060 is not a 4K graphics card, current games can be played in Full HD but with high details.

When using the native resolution, some details may have to be turned down.

Asus is targeting the Dell XPS 15″ (2016) and Apple’s MacBook Pro 15″ with the new ZenBook Pro. Both absolute high-end notebooks, which offer a compact design.

So also Asus, because the new ZenBook Pro will have very narrow frames around the display and thus not too big from the outer dimensions. Further details on the technical data have not yet been published, but there will again be different memory and RAM configurations.

Furthermore, the notebook will be made of aluminum to meet the high demands of the Zen series.

The large touchpad is unmistakable. Overall, the ZenBook Pro looks somewhat like the MacBook Pro but runs with Windows 10 as an operating system.

The price of the new Asus ZenBook Pro will move in the premium area.

Although a concrete number has not been mentioned so far, the technical data, the high-quality housing and the compact design suggest this.

Nevertheless, Asus has offered comparatively good prices in recent years. It will be exciting to see how the Dell XPS 15″, HP Specter x360 15″ and MacBook Pro 15″ are set up.
