Call of Duty: WW2 has – like many online games – a problem with cheaters. Now the developers have come up with a new method that will hopefully get more cheaters online. And the community plays an important role.

Already in the open beta of Call of Duty: WW2 there were first reports that cheaters were spotted. Although the developers had promised that they would no longer be found in the game for release, they still exist today.

Hey PC community, if you see someone in #CODWWII that you think is cheating, you can report them in-game and tweet us here with videos and Steam IDs.

The developers cannot be accused too much. Because every online game has to struggle with cheaters. Especially when it comes to such a popular game as Call of Duty: WW2. Now the developers defend themselves together with the community.

“Hey PC Community”, is in the first post of the new Twitter channel developer Sledgehammer Games.

Here you can post all the cheaters that you should meet in Call of Duty: WW2 and report directly to the developers. This should shorten the times to a spell and free the shooter in the long run from cheaters.

How successful this little experiment will be on Twitter remains to be seen. After all, the community does not seem averse. Under the first post already pile up numerous reports including videos and Steam IDs about potential cheaters.
