Activision Introduces Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Trailer

We already have official trailer of the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and there is no doubt that Activision has done everything possible to show the most spectacular site of this new installment of its star franchise, whose development has been in charge this year of the guys from Infinity Ward, Raven Software and Beenox.

The first thing that catches the attention of the trailer is the level of graphics quality that it reflects in some scenes. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a development focused on consoles, that does not support discussion, but it seems that developers have managed to shape a new graphic engine, more scalable and better designed to harness the potential of both Xbox One and PS4 as the of the latest generation PCs.

I can not lie, I have been skeptical since the announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and did not expect a graphic jump as big as the one we see in the video, so my sincere congratulations to the developers. All in all, keep in mind that what we see in the video should be the game running on a high-end PC, so we will have to wait to see what finish they have achieved in the modest hardware of PS4 and Xbox One.

Before I talk about the new details of the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, I want to remind you of two important keys on a technical level. This new installment will use photogrammetry to achieve a more realistic finish, something that will be noticed especially in the closest planes, and NVIDIA ray tracing technology. It is not clear if they will focus on improving lighting, ambient occlusion or reflections, but we can assume that to enjoy it it will be essential to have at least one RTX 2060 Super graphics card.

That said, we enter fully to talk about the multiplayer mode. This new installment will allow confrontations in mode 2 against 2 and also in a mode 20 against 20 that promises to take the action to another level. There will be a cross game between PS4, Xbox One and PC, and we will have a huge arsenal of weapons to choose from. It does look good, but the details of the campaign mode are still in the air.

If everything goes as planned, the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will take place on October 25, 2019.
