This concept of iOS 12 adds some new features to the operating system and improves existing features
Yesterday we saw an interesting concept of macOS where the system received important features of iOS to improve the user experience.

That sudden redesign of macOS may take much longer to arrive, but some ideas of this new concept for iOS may see them soon. @iOSNewsAndMore shows us how he imagines the next big update of the software for iPhone and iPad.

Important news, minor improvements

Some of the ideas raised in these designs are not far-fetched, but we must recognize that another Apple has been denying them for years.

For example, the dark mode has been rumored for many years, and Apple still does not want to implement it. Nor is it likely that we will see the use of the split screen on the iPhone, even on the 7.9-inch iPad it is possible.

These are some of the ideas we can see:

  • Remove the name of the apps on the home screen.
  • A more discrete volume bar at the top.
  • Apps blocked with code and unlocked by Face ID.
  • A guest mode that allows access to only some apps.
  • Multiple timers in the Clock app.
  • The return of the wish list in the App Store.
  • A redesign of Safari with the search bar at the bottom and the rest of the items at the top.
  • The split screen by using Split View.
  • A redesign of FaceTime and the possibility of group videoconferences.
  • A complete redesign of the notifications and their operation.
  • Improvements in the interface of the Camera app.
  • The coveted dark mode in the operating system.

Personally, I would apply three of these ideas on iOS. The first of these is the notification points, with the OLED screen Apple could add a small point that informs us of the existence of a notification without turning on the entire screen.

The second idea has to do with blocking apps by code, something quite simple to implement Restrictions in Settings.

And finally, the wish list of the App Store, but in a more polished, with a history of prices, dates of changes and more options. We’ll see what this WWDC 2018 holds, it’s supposed to go iOS 12 will focus on stability, right?
