Apple’s list of obsolete or vintage products includes all those products that after a period of time of their life, are declared obsolete and therefore stop receiving any kind of support.

Apple MacBook
This is done since it is considered that since its last sale, has passed the life of the product and it is understandable that it is changed by a new one by the user.

This list has been updated this week with new Apple products, this time, laptops. And the most outstanding of all is, of course, the 13-inch MacBook of 2010. Introduced in 2006 as a substitute for the iBook, this laptop was the MacBook excellence until 2010.

In fact, until 2012 continued to offer academic institutions.

In white polycarbonate and black polycarbonate, at the time was a trend, now would be unthinkable to put it on sale after so many years with aluminum.

Other models declared obsolete are the following:

  • 13-inch mid-2010 MacBook
  • MacBook Pro 13-inch mid-2009
  • 15-inch MacBook Pro mid-2009
  • MacBook Pro 15-inch 2.53 GHz mid-2009

As a curious detail, the products that Apple considers obsolete or vintage stop receiving support worldwide except in Turkey and the state of California.

Due to local laws in these two areas, Apple should continue to give special support to these products if any customers in these areas suffer any damage.
