Motorola may release a MotoMods VR compatible with Daydream

Motorola does not seem to pass it well, according to the latest news emerged, however, Evan Blass is ready to make us forget the bad news with a new leak.

This time it is not a new smartphone, but a MotoMods never saw before, that is a VR viewer called Motorola Virtual Viewer.

At the moment there are no technical details about the accessory, however, since it is a MotoMods, it is likely to benefit from the presence of the back contact of compatible smartphones, in order to ensure a direct connection between the viewer and the device.

Imagine that this can be used to access external commands without having to request that the smartphone is connected via the Type-C port.

In all likelihood, the viewer could be an accessory compatible with Google Daydream, since there is no evidence that Lenovo and Motorola have developed their own platform for managing VR content, so the choice to support the Google proposal seems the only sensible, at the moment.

Obviously, there are no details about price and availability, so we should wait for official communications.
