According to a Weibo share, the upcoming Meizu Pro 7 will be having a larger version, larger than the standard 5.7-inch. The back side of the phone appears on a hands-on leak covered by a case that brands the phone as Pro 7 Plus.
According to previous leaks, Meizu Pro 7 will have a 5.7-inch display panel with a 4K resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and feature a 12MP Sony IMX362 primary camera. The same camera is already housed by the Vivo Xplay 6 and is rumored to be coming with the Xiaomi Mi 6.
Other rumors regarding the Meizu Pro 7 talk about a titanium body design that will add to phone’s durability and water resistance. In terms of performance, the Pro 7 is expected to be running the MediaTek Helio X30 deca-core chipset with up to 8GB of RAM with 256GB of premium edition.
Other versions are expected to have 4GB and 6GB of RAM with different storage models of their own. Android 7.0 Nougat will be what will be covering the user experience.
Rumors regarding the Pro 7 have been constantly released since early days of this year, however, the Pro 7 Plus version of the phone appears for the first time today. Probably, Meizu was inspired by the Galaxy S8 and S8+ that launched with extensively large displays. That might have given them the signal that a 5.7-inch screen panel is not large enough. A slightly larger one could be.
What could drastically improve the performance of the Meizu Pro 7 would be a dual camera setup on the Pro 7 Plus. The later one is just a speculation of my own, so don’t take it seriously.
