If you are looking into getting a new action cam, GoPro cameras may be the first to come to your mind. However, the high price tag makes you step back.
As we all know, there are more and newer, cheaper contenders rising in China. Among them, we must mention MGCOOL which launched several action cameras like Explorer, Explorer Pro, and Explorer Elite in these two years.
Recently MGCOOL has made another leap in action camera field. It claims to release a high-end camera comparable to GoPro 5 in 2017. Not only it will have a touch screen but it can shoot 4K HD video.
The MGCOOL Explorer 2 is a tremendous leap forward compared to its predecessor according to the current exposure.
Besides a key upgrade of the touchscreen on the back, it will be able to deliver 4K video at 30 fps.
As the photos show, 4K delivers more details than 1080P
You probably have seen the term ‘4K video’ plastered on shop displays and even written on the labels stuck on the front of products. 4K is a video specification that literally just means ‘4,000’.
It gets its name from the approximately 4,000 pixels of the width of the footage.
Generally, 4K video delivers incredibly sharp footage compared to 1080p. Shooting at 30fps means the shutter can go as low as 1/30 second, letting in much light as shooting.
4k @ 30fps allows a lower shutter speed meaning more light and better exposure of each frame.
That is why 4K 30 fps gradually becomes the mainstream.
MGCOOL will expose a few more aces about this new camera. By convention, the camera will not cost too much. If you are looking for a high performance-price camera, it definitely deserves a try.
