The MGCOOL Explorer 1S runs on NT96660 and adopts 20 mega-pixel Sony IMX 078 sensor, which enables it to record 4K video at 24 frames per second (QuickTime player required) and capture 20M still images.
Besides, it also supports shooting 2K (2560*1440)@30fps, Full HD@60fps, 720P@120fps. H.264 is used in this camera for encoding videos.
Another advantage of this camera is that it has four view angles: 70°, 110°, 140°, 170°. It is very useful for framing distant views.

The MGCOOL Explorer 1S feels light. However, the exquisite wiredrawing craft makes it looks like made of metal. So it will not look cheap though it is made mostly of plastic.
The camera body is very compact, great to hold and easy to operate. The menu is operated with a few buttons: up, down, and ok (with the shutter).
The menu is only a couple of levels deep but has many options. It is simple enough to navigate, although pressing the small buttons requires some efforts.
The packaging contains a bunch of accessories for usage in various conditions. The box includes one MGCOOL Explorer, one waterproof case (30m), one camera bracket, one bicycle stand, two helmet base, one clip, USB cable and User Manual.
