Affinity Photo takes time between us as an application for macOS. But since the last WWDC17 a few days ago, it is also available in the App Store for use on an iPad.
In this way, one of the most powerful applications when editing photos, also come to the iPad.
Here are some of the most interesting features of the iPad version:
- Optimized for the iPad: Affinity has not only brought the app from Mac to iPad but has configured and modified it so that it makes sense to use it on a touch device.
- Non-destructive adjustments: We can apply the classic adjustments to an image such as curves, levels, white balance or lights, and shadows. But these settings will not directly affect the image, but overlap, so that the image does not lose quality.
- Real-time changes: As we said, this is a very powerful application, which is why Affinity Photo is able to apply effects and changes in real time, so you see how any option would remain before adding it to the image.
- Support for all types of images: RAW, PSD, PNG, JPG, TIF, EPS, PDF and SVG files.
Affinity Photo for iPad is available in the App Store for 21.99 euros. This is a limited launch offer, so in a few days will increase its price.
It may seem a bit high this price for an application, but we are facing a photo retouching and editing application at the height of very few.
For many, Affinity Photo has replaced Photoshop and Affinity Designer with Illustrator. Not in vain, because it is a design suite that can cope with any other.
That’s why the 20 euros of the application for iPad are really nothing compared to what it can offer.
