The smartwatch market is evolving rather more slowly than many manufacturers thought, and it is still an ecosystem that is quite green.
However, Android Wear 2.0 has been a slight push, but still insufficient, for some companies to encourage their proposals.
What not many people expected is that some firms that have little to do with gadgets will bet on launching their own smart watches.
One of them is the well-known Emporio Armani fashion brand, which some time ago tried to enter the market with a very little smartwatch ‘smart’, but this year will bring us a proposal with Android Wear 2.0.
The Emporio Armani Connected will be the second generation and, as we said, this time will bring Android Wear 2.0 as an operating system (its predecessor did not have any, in fact) and a touchscreen to interact with it.
If this product finally comes to light, this time it will be a real smartwatch (with its operating system and touch screen).
In terms of design, the new Emporio Armani Connected will be very similar to its predecessor, with a rounded display and two buttons next to the crown.
It will be compatible with both Android and iOS devices and will bring all the features you can expect from a watch with Android Wear.
This watch would see the light on September 24, although the price will be unknown.
Its previous generation cost about 420 euros of exit, so in this case, we hope that the firm does not decide to raise the price and, put to dream, to launch it at a lower price to compete (if it is what you seek) with other watches.
