Google seems to have started a distribution on a larger scale of the function that allows you to activate Assistant via the voice command “Hey Google”.
Reports of the last hours broadcast by the XDA site refer to the arrival of the ZTE Axon M feature equipped with Android 7.1 Nougat.
The operation is similar to that already seen with the Google-branded terminals: a notification is displayed that asks the user to start the initial training phase, after which it will be possible to call up the digital assistant simply by saying “Hey Google”.
The access to the voice assistant becomes in this way even more versatile: the “Hey Google” command joins the existing “OK Google”.
It is not to be excluded that other non-Google Android terminals, in addition to the aforementioned ZTE Axom M, have already received or are receiving the new feature. At present, there are no reports on the Italian market.
You can report in the comments if you have already received a notification similar to the one above.
