The other day it was teased that new footage from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would be revealed at The Game Awards, and sure enough that has happened.

From the footage, it seems that they are taking us through a new area to explore called the “Zonai Ruins” in the which links will be forced to battle craft some pretty bad guys.

We have to say that we love what we are seeing so far in terms of the graphics and the gameplay of the upcoming release.

Also unlike previous Zelda titles, Breath of the Wild will adopt some open world elements, making it more interesting for players who are curious about the world around them and want to explore further.

Unfortunately, at the moment we are unclear as to when the game will be released.

It has been rumored that it will not be Launched in March 2017 alongside the Nintendo Switch.

Instead, a listing on Target’s website has pegged its launch for June 2017. Either way we guess until a date has been confirmed, this gameplay footage will have to do for now.
