Bungie has released the first trailer for Destiny 2 and confirmed the release date September 8th.

Just over a week ago, a Leak revealed the alleged date for the release of Bungie’s Destiny 2.

The now released trailer confirms September 8, 2017, and gives the first insight into the history of the shooter.

So the Kabale has conquered the last city and your task as guardian is now to save what is left.

In addition, Bungie announces an open beta, for which players can already secure early access when they pre-order Destiny 2.

Bungie has confirmed Destiny 2 with a poster/logo showing what looks like the Traveler eclipsing the moon (or sun), which follows last week’s rumors about a September 8th release date and beta access for those who pre-order the game.

Destiny 2, like its predecessor, will feature exclusive PS4 content.

The first Destiny remains a console-only affair, despite bridging two generations of gaming systems.

But it sounds like PC players will finally get to start playing around with space magic in Destiny 2.

If this is true, it will be interesting to see what Bungie tweaks to make the game more welcoming for the PC crowd.
The Destiny 2 will be available for Xbox and PC players only in autumn 2018.
