Cyberpunk 2077’s code hides information about its multiplayer and modes called Heist and Deathmatch, according to DSOGaming

After the questioned premiere that Cyberpunk 2077 had, it is clear that CD Projekt RED has a huge job ahead of it until it leaves the perfect game in all its versions. At the same time, we must not forget that the team intends to enable a multiplayer mode that will be included in the future and about which some data miners have found interesting information.

In DSOGaming we can read that these users have been thoroughly examining the code of the game and have found a few details related to executable files, which makes us suspect that everything they have come across will end up becoming reality sooner or later, although it does not remove that any change may occur.

The portal in question claims to have an anonymous source that has provided this information, indicating that the multiplayer will have a couple of game modes called Heist and Deathmatch. The first one will be cooperative for four people and will consist of committing robberies with the possibility of choosing between several different classes: Assassin, Netrunner, Solo, and Techie.

As for the second of them, it will be focused on competitive multiplayer and will simply consist of all the players annihilating each other. In either case, the data miners suggest that there will be no dedicated servers and P2P connections will be used instead.

Even so, CD Projekt RED has not mentioned anything about it, so you have to take all the information with a grain of salt until the Polish study mentions something about it. The date multiplayer will be available is a mystery, but it seems that the best thing is that we wait seated while the team first fixes the bugs that are causing so much inconvenience to users and that have caused mass returns or that the game has been removed from digital stores.
