Cyberpunk 2077: PS4 user crashes after winning platinum trophy

Cyberpunk 2077 suffered many technical problems that ended up overshadowing its narrative-based RPG proposal. Despite this, there are players who saw the bright side and tried to play the title from start to finish. Precisely thanks to one of them we tell you the following case, which made it clear that the bug problems were present in a game until the end.

Through Reddit, a user shared his particular experience trying to obtain all the trophies on PlayStation 4. If you are a player on this platform, surely you know that to obtain the maximum trophy, the platinum one, all the other challenges or achievements must first be unlocked.

Without going into details and thanks to the narrative properties of the game, Cyberpunk 2077 is a title with multiple endings and there are trophies or achievements linked to them. Although to meet these requirements it is necessary to play all the endings, it is possible to save a file and load it multiple times before the final mission, and take different directions without having to play the entire adventure.

However, this is not an easy task, as it takes a long time to achieve each achievement within the title. However, user SoleSurvivorVault18 undertook this challenge and was recently able to achieve it, although it was not free from the bug problems that characterize the game, especially in the console versions.

Curiously to round off what the Cyberpunk 2077 experience has been for many console players, immediately after getting the platinum trophy the game crashed. “I think it’s the perfect ending for Cyberpunk 2077,” said SoleSurvivorVault18, who said that fortunately this did not corrupt his game, but managed to get platinum as soon as the credits began to appear.

This case could be peculiar, as it would be a strange coincidence that the game crashed right after obtaining the platinum trophy; however, it is far from being a unique case, as several players indicate that something similar happened to them.

SoleSurvivorVault18 took this with grace, joking that it would have been great if the capture after winning a trophy was the blue screen of error and even some jokingly pointed out that it was another secret ending.

What do you think of this case? Has a similar situation happened to you playing Cyberpunk 2077 or some other game? Tell us in the comments.

The disastrous debut of Cyberpunk 2077 not only generated negative criticism towards CD Projekt RED, but there was even a great controversy regarding refunds and there could even be problems with lawsuits and fines against the Polish studio. On the other hand, all this also generated a wave of uncertainty about the future of the game, but you should know that the developer continues to work not only on the DLC but also asked for a vote of confidence to fix the title and invited fans to do not return the game.
