Halo Infinite is months away and there are still many details that remain under wraps. For this reason, several rumors have arisen, such as one that ensures that it will have a Battle Royale. According to an insider, that’s not true, as 343 Industries is preparing something much more appropriate for this franchise.
According to information from Klobrille, a renowned Microsoft content-focused insider, Halo Infinite will lack a Battle Royale mode. This means that 343 Industries decided to move away from the subgenre that is a trend in large first-person shooter productions.
The reason 343 Industries is moving away from Battle Royale mode is that they are preparing something different. What they want to do is create a new version of Big Team Battle which is better than what Halo offers and wows players with a large-scale experience.
WHAT WILL THE SUPPOSED BIG TEAM BATTLE OF HALO INFINITE BE LIKE?
If you are a veteran of Halo, you know that Big Team Battle is multiplayer that debuted in Halo 3 and that we later saw in later installments. This is a variation of Team Killer, which differs by being carried out on very large maps with a lot of vehicles.
Taking this as a basis, 343 Industries would be making a new Big Team Battle that would include several improvements. For example, the combat between vehicles would be superior to what we have seen before, plus there would be a team respawn and more surprises, such as the possibility of falling from a Pelican.
The best thing is that the absence of an official Battle Royale does not mean that the community would have to be left without the mode. What happens is that the insider believes that Forge will be renewed considerably, so the community could use it to create their own Battle Royale.
“Halo was once a show about setting trends, not following them. The fact that 343 tries to return to this principle is a good thing. Forge will be massively expanded in Halo Infinite. I’m sure that players who want a Halo Battle Royale will be able to create it there, ”
explained the insider.
