The No Man’s Sky Beyond update will arrive this month with VR support

It’s time to get back on our ship and explore the universe: Hello Games has just announced that the new update of No Man’s Sky arrives in two weeks, and if you have a virtual reality helmet, it’s time to use it.

No Man’s Sky Beyond comes loaded with ambition, as we told you a few months ago. It will be released on August 14, and among its main novelties includes full support for Virtual Reality on PC and PSVR. It will also incorporate new and improved functionalities in the multiplayer experience.

Of the latter, they have not detailed much, but in the official announcement, they ensure that it will serve to encourage players to meet and play together from anywhere in the universe of the title.

No Man’s Sky came out in 2016 and brought a fairly rugged launch. The online multiplayer was one of the things that were expected with more expectation, but then it turned out that it was not part of the initial experience. Even so, Sean Murray and company have not given up, and continue to update their work to this day.

It goes without saying that, like the previous updates of No Man’s Sky, the content of Beyond will be completely free. Nor will it have any type of microtransactions or require a subscription.
