We update the owing to the discovery of a tweet posted by LlabTooFer, a leaker very close to the HTC scene, which gives us some more detail on the HTC U11 Plus technical card.

According to the source, the new top HTC home range will be equipped with a 4000 mAh battery and will be very similar to those of U11, with slight increments on each of the three axes, hence height, width, and thickness. We are confident that the 3000 to 4000 mAh passage, compared to a slightly larger size, can overwhelm the appetite of more than one enthusiast.

It is the first true confirmation of what will be the new HTC flagship, despite the sale of part of the mobile division to Google. Apparently, the Taiwanese home has no intention of abandoning the smartphone market and, during the scheduled event for November 2, we will surely see many new things.

To further illuminate the curiosity of what has been hitherto baptized as HTC U11 Plus, we have considered the first benchmarks that, as always indirectly, anticipate the specifications of the new terminals.

HTC 2Q4D1 – Ocean Master – should be in fact the codename of the next U11 Plus. By analyzing scores from Geekbench, there is no doubt that the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 will be on board while looking at GFXBench documentation you can already make up a large part of the data sheet.

  • Operating system Android 8.0 Oreo
  • 6 “LCD display with 2880×1440 resolution (aspect ratio: 18: 9)
  • SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 835
  • 4 GB of RAM
  • 64 GB of internal storage
  • 12MP rear camera
  • 8MP front camera

So in line with previous rumors, HTC U11 Plus will try to recover the lost ground in the crowded panorama of smartphones with elongated display and minimized frames. Now just wait for the first images to understand what the changes will be from the aesthetic point of view to the current U11.
