The ZUK Z2 was one of the devices that they launched this year and cooked up a storm for its great mix of hardware, design, and pricing. The Snapdragon 820 phone is still a great phone now and it’s hard to see where it could be improved upon.

So how could an already decent phone be made better? Well, what about a timely update to Android 7.0?

Yep, the news today is that ZUK is working on an update for the ZUK Z2 which will bring Android 7.0 to the phone.

It’s not clear what updates the latest Android build will bring to the phone, nor do we know when it will be made official to download, but we’re sure there are plenty of ZUK Z2 owners out there who are excited about this news.

The ZUK Z2 has been on sale for a few months already and the phone is pretty easy to get hold of through online stores.

Specs for the device include a 5-inch display, 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 13-megapixel main camera and 8-megapixel fronts.
