Talk about Microsoft Surface Pro 5 has once again started after it has quieted down somewhat when the much-anticipated device was not unveiled at the company’s Surface event last October.
Now, reports are saying Microsoft may unveil the new Surface Pro in Feb. 2017 along with the Surface Book 2 and Surface Phone.
Tech experts say the Surface Pro 5 will come fitted with Intel’s seventh-generation Kaby Lake processor.
Besides the expected processor upgrade, reports say the tablet will also have a 12.3-inch PixelSense screen, and buyers will be able to choose between 2K and 4K screen resolutions.
Some reports say the Surface Pro 5 may feature an improved battery since the Surface Pro 4 has been plagued with battery issues.
The Kaby Lake processor is supposed to slightly improve battery life, and it is being said that the device will have a battery that can last seven hours.
The device will also come with USB Type-C ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD slot and a Surface Pen.
That’s much better than the three to four hours of battery life of the Surface Pro 4.
For now, Microsoft is yet to announce that the Surface Pro 5 is under development or when is its release date.
