Apple fans were extremely excited about the hopeful announcement and launch of Apple iPad Air 3 in 2016.
Apple released its latest 12.9 inches iPad Pro version instead. According to latest rumors, iPad Air 3 is now pegged to get a 2017 release date. However, there is no concrete news about the launch.

If rumors are to be believed, iPad Air 3 will feature an Apple Pencil. This move has been possibly deployed to compete with other tablets and their stylus support. The iPad will also feature a 4K screen that will be 3D Touch technology friendly.
Some experts also believe that iPhone 7 features might also be added to the iPad Air 3.
The new line of iPads with iPad Air 3 leading the line may have a 10.9-inch screen. This size is larger than the previous model iPad Air 2.
Another source, BGR reports that iPad Air 3 might finally feature a touch ID with the fingerprint scanner. It might be released with Bluetooth 4.2 and four-speaker audio system.

As far as the memory aspect is concerned, the iPad Air 3 will be released in 2 hardware variants with internals memories of 16GB and 32GB. The iPad Air 3 price is expected to start at $610.
