GIGABYTE AORUS Gen5 AIC Adapter harnesses the power of PCIe 5 to expand storage

GIGABYTE, one of the leading companies in high-performance and gaming hardware and components, today announced the AORUS Gen5 AIC Adapter that is PCIe 5 compatible and capable of supporting up to four NVMe SSDs in M.2 form factor. The device has an internal heat dissipation system made up of a large heat sink and a double-sided high-conductivity thermal pad. In addition, the temperature can be monitored in real-time with the AORUS Storage Manager and SSD Tool Box apps, which are exclusive to GIGABYTE.

The use of the GIGABYTE AORUS Gen5 AIC is aimed at the new generation GIGABYTE motherboards for Intel and AMD with support for PCIe 5. Obviously, the M.2 slots provided by the device are compatible with PCI Express generation 3 and 4 drives.
