Upcoming iPhone: 3 GB of RAM and fast charge

Analysts continue to tell their predictions about what Apple can do with the iPhone we will see this year.

There are OLED panel tracks from three different models with a 5.8-inch “Edition” … and now Cowen and Company analyst Timothy Arcuri dares with more bets.

And these bets are 3 GB of RAM on all models of the iPhone, something that right now is reserved for the iPhone 7 Plus exclusively.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S carry 2 GB of memory, while older models have “only” 1 GB or less.

More content, faster

More RAM means that we can have more applications open at the same time, and/or that the system will preload content and options to be agiler (it comes to mind how the content is loaded than we predicted using 3D Touch).

The number of tabs we load in Safari will also benefit: the more RAM, the more webs can stay open without being recharged when we access your tabs again.

Arcuri also comments that the storage configurations will remain the same as the current iPhone: 32, 128 and 256 GB.

The difference would be the “Edition” model 5.8 inches, which would be offered in 64 or 256 GB only. It would be a more limited and exclusive model.
