OneDrive is updated for iOS with support for Face ID taking advantage of the arrival of the stores of the iPhone X

The iPhone X is already among us and one of the main signs of identity that looks next to its screen is its identification system that seeks to improve security in terms of access.

It’s about Face ID, an improvement that applications can also take advantage of and that’s what Microsoft has done with OneDrive.

And is that the storage service in the cloud has taken advantage of the arrival of the iPhone X to update the application offered in the App Store to be equipped with support for access via Face ID and with a design adapted to the new screen.

The 5.8-inch OLED screen of the iPhone X offers in the upper area a part that houses the sensors and the camera, a space that has required that the applications adapt their interfaces to not leave that dead zone. It is one of the improvements of this version.

On the other hand and do not have the now famous “Home” button, now to access OneDrive we use the volumetric scanner that the iPhone X makes of our face, an improvement that OneDrive now uses to access the app we can use Face ID.

In addition and as usual, add the “typical” bug fixes, improvements in Microsoft Intune to manage business devices or fix failures.

If you use an iPhone or an iPhone X in particular, you can now download this version, which reaches number 9.6.2 and starts using it.
