In the last few hours, there has been an incredible glimpse of anticipations for the forthcoming OnePlus 5 flagship, which will be officially presented in less than 24 hours.

OnePlus 5: unboxing pictures

To begin with, Evan @evleaks Blass has once again confirmed the design of the smartphone.

OnePlus had spread a part of it a few days ago and the one in the official spot, but the new image – clear and defined – escapes any remaining doubt. No surprise, anyway.

On the Chinese social network Weibo, then, four unboxing photos appeared. Unfortunately, quality is not much, but let’s say it confirms the style of the device again.

Finally, there is a very long and detailed article by The Verge, which, although it can not be defined as a review, is approaching so much. The US headline focuses heavily on camera quality, explaining how it was one of the most cautious aspects of the entire device.

Confirmed the dual camera, of course, and there are a few technical details;

[perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””] Here is the dual camera setup with the highest resolution in the world as defined by OnePlus itself.  [/perfectpullquote]

  • Primary Camera: 16 MP with focal length f / 1.7
  • Secondary camera: 20 MP “telephoto” with aperture f / 2.6

An iPhone-like system, in short, that brings the blur of the Reflex style background: this is the most important advantage of introducing technology, says OnePlus.

The company has confirmed that it has been able to get components thanks to its links with Oppo, but engineering and software optimization are all four of its sack. “Portrait Mode” technology, however, will require further optimizations over the coming months – just as it happened for Apple with iPhone.

Snapdragon 835 and so much RAM have also been confirmed: no exact figure has been mentioned, but it is said: “more than there is in a notebook”.

As we know, rumors point up to 8 GB of RAM. Not even the price was revealed to be accurate, but yes, it will be higher than in the past and near the $ 500 range (probably abundant).

And as a bonus, here are some prototypes tested by OnePlus. The only real question left: at this point, what will they talk tomorrow in the presentation?
