If you want to send WhatsApp messages with the keyboard of your Mac, you can do this with the WhatsApp client for MacOS.
In the most recent version, it is possible to reply directly to messages via the message center.
WhatsApp is still available only for smartphones, but the messaging service has been “remotely controlled” over the desktop client app WhatsApp Desktop for some time.
For the MacOS version of WhatsApp, there is now a practical innovation: messages can be answered directly via the message center.
So, if you get a notification of a new message, you do not have to switch to WhatsApp to answer it.
Instead, it is possible to directly tap the notification and then respond in the notification itself via the text field – similar to the way it is possible with the iOS.
WhatsApp Desktop is available through the WhatsApp website and the Mac App Store. Before use, users must first connect the client to the app on a smartphone.
