PlayStation 4

Get some details about the next system upgrade that will bring the PlayStation 4 console firmware to version 5.0.

The editorial staff of Eurogamer.net seems to have come into possession of a document that anticipates the arrival of several novelties.

According to the report, the new update will allow players to stream on Twitch at 1080p and 60fps, But the feature will be limited to the owners of PlayStation 4 Pro only.

PlayStation 4

It seems that Sony intends to encourage not only content sharing but also user interaction, and for that reason, Playstation 4 will implement a “following” system, similar to the one on Xbox One.

You will be able to link direct streaming to the PlayStation Community channels and, during direct VR, you can see the comments directly from the viewer screen.

The update should also introduce a review of the notification system that will be added to the Quick Menu, with the ability to see downloads and uploads as well. Also, the note is the arrival of push notifications for events.

A new feature allows you to create a ” family ” profile with multiple accounts, each with its own privileges and prohibitions, all of which can be managed by PCs and smartphones thanks to the arrival of a new application.

At the moment we do not know if the Eurogamer report corresponds to reality, Sony has not issued official declarations and it should be considered as a simple rumor.
