After Groove Music and Film and TV, Project NEON also arrives at Microsoft Photo: the new graphic style, formally, is already supported in Windows 10 Creators Update, but officially debuted with the next major system update scheduled for September 2017 Now known as Redstone 3.
We remind you that even the Dropbox official app has been upgraded with NEON (only for those who have already updated to Windows 10 1703).
The main novelty is the translucent effect that developers may choose to apply selectively to various elements of the UI – including side navigation bar, main background, and title bar.
Remember a bit of Windows 7, but it’s a more cautious and delicate implementation.
The app version with the new design is 17.428.10010. It is deployed in the Fast Ring, although for now, it seems to a limited number of Insiders.
Among other things, there is a new search page, which for the moment is nothing more than a kind of integrated browser (with Bing search, of course) without a Back button.
