This means, thanks to a publication in NeoGAF, that has become the sixth best-selling ‘Resident Evil’ in a list that is headed by ‘ Resident Evil 5 ‘ with almost ten million units, as you can see below:

- Resident Evil 6 – 8 million
- Resident Evil 4 – 5.9 million
- Resident Evil: Director’s Cut – 5.08 million
- Resident Evil 2 – 4.96 million
- Resident Evil 7 – more than 4 million
With the arrival of Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition on December 12, it is expected that the number of units will increase as this is the final edition, which will include all the downloadable contents that have been published so far along with two New DLC: ‘End of Zoe’ and ‘Not A Hero’, which will also be available for download individually from the same day.
