Introduction

The Sennheiser Pro is a perfect headset for anyone who knows the importance of sound quality. Knowing that the most of the earphone models have problems with ambient sound, this fine piece offers a solution.

Whatever purpose you want to use it, the Sennheiser pro will do the job.

Features

When it comes to features, this headset offers more than most similar products – incredible noise isolation, maximum comfort, it is practically weightless, it has the ergonomic design, the frequency of response is perfect, and the ear cups are padded.

The noise isolation

The noise isolation feature means that the outside noise will not interfere with your enjoyment. As long as it is under 32 decibels, you will be able to listen to your music without hearing a single thing outside from it.

Comfortable – Paddings and Ergonomic Design

The comfort that this headset provides was made possible by headband and ear-cups padding, and the ergonomic design. You would not find much use of a headset that isn’t comfortable to wear – plastic headbands can pull on your hair, and bare ear-cups are prone to causing irritation and can’t be worn for a long time.

Weight

The weight of the headset is important, even though it doesn’t seem like it at first. Some headsets are bulky and weigh quite a lot in comparison to other, lighter models, practically encumbering you, which makes extended usage impossible.

This also affects the comfort rating of the set.

The frequency of response

This is, perhaps, one of the most important features that a headphone set can possess – it virtually determines the sound quality and capabilities of the earphones as it affects the speed of the vibrations that the set emits. Sennheiser hd 280 pro has the optimal frequency of response which resulted in amazing sound capabilities.

Performance

As mentioned before, there are several factors that make this headset perform so well. Besides the optimal frequency of response, Sennheiser pro 280 is outfitted with oxygen-free cabling made of copper that makes the signal very clear.

  • The bass and lows

Then comes the matter of the bass – this headset is designed with a configuration that was supposed to deliver the best sound. The bass controls were set at the level that is not too strong (this was implemented in order to avoid muffling), but not too low either.

  • The highs

Concerning the highs, they sound rather nice. They are not perfect, but you won’t hear hissing or screeching noises, no matter how far you go with the volume. Most of the details in sound tend to get lost to the highs when the standard models are in question, which is definitely not the case with Sennheiser pro.

  • Summary of sound performance

Overall, the entire sound setting configuration is greatly superior to most standard models of headsets. However, it must be taken into account that these earphones are not perfect – most music is meant to be played on stereo systems, but these earphones come very close.

Value for Money

This is a very delicate matter, but the answer to the question of “are they any good for the money” would be a positive one. They may appear to be expensive, but they are durable and will last for a long time.

You will save a lot of money by purchasing a headset of high quality such as this instead of wasting your cash on dozens expandable ones.

Sennheiser pro offers a lot of advantages, and most of the qualities it possesses can’t even be compared to most other headset pieces. The performance, the features, and its amazing durability are the reason why it’s definitely worth the price.

Pros & Cons

The only flaw that Sennheiser Pro has is the price – it is not a budget variant of earphones that would suit the needs of a casual listener, rather it’s meant for people who demand quality. It has a lot to offer, and it will last you for a very long time.

Pros

  • Very comfortable because of the ergonomic design and padded headband and earcups;
  • Ergonomic design;
  • Incredible performance and quality;
  • Very durable;
  • Optimal frequency of response;
  • Padded headband;

Cons

  • A bit too expensive for some users;

Conclusion

All in all, this is, perhaps, one of the best cheap headphones you could find on the earphones market. The quality of sound can hardly be described by words, as the experience you will get would be genuine, but it’s not too far from perfection. A truly remarkable set that holds an incredible value.
