The Siri speaker would have surround sound and Apple would present it at WWDC 2017, according to Mark Gurman

More details on the hardware launches that would take place in the next June 5 keynote.

rumored Siri Speaker

Now, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg said that Apple already started mass production of the rumored Siri Speaker, but that the device would not be marketed until later this year. Similarly, Gurman cites sources familiar with the subject and ensures that the speaker could be presented in the WWDC 2017 keynote.

Rumors also indicate that the device would have virtual surround sound, and would allow users to automate home appliances and lights through Apple’s HomeKit system.

In addition, Gurman says that the speaker could integrate sensors that would measure the acoustics of a place to adjust the audio levels improving quality without user intervention.

Full integration with Apple products

Of course, the Siri Speaker would have full integration with Apple products, would not include screen, according to people who have seen the product, and would be compatible with third party services and applications.

The rumors say that the manufacture of these speakers would be in charge of Inventec, who also was in charge manufacturing the Apple AirPods.

If these rumors were true, this would be the first conference of developers since 2013, in which Apple would introduce new hardware.

We are short to know if this year we would see a speaker of the apple company in the market.
