After the Samsung Galaxy S7 last year only equipped with Exynos processors, the South Korean company will this year the Galaxy S8 with both the Snapdragon 835 and the recently introduced Exynos 8895 offer.
Even before the official presentation of the two Galaxy S8 smartphones, a new benchmark has emerged, which allows for the first time a comparison of the two processors, which will be used in the Galaxy S8.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus with the model designation SM-G955F is the European model, which will be equipped with the Exynos 8895. The SM-G955U, which was already benchmarked at the beginning of the month, is the US model with Snapdragon 835.
How well do the two processors cut off on the same smartphone? Do we get the faster or the slower processor?
Comparison: Exynos 8895 vs. Snapdragon 835
Both Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones are equipped with 4 GB RAM, run with Android 7.0 nougat and differ only in the processor. On the left, we see the model with Snapdragon 835, while on the right the model with Exynos 8895 is pictured.
The latter is slightly faster in the benchmark than Qualcomm’s SoC. This is the Galaxy S8 with Exynos chip, which comes in Europe, probably possesses more power than the US models.
The comparison of the two processors is so interesting since it is hardly possible that one and the same device with different processors is offered. That’s why the comparisons between different smartphones are always something.
