Without notice, The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm are announcing the release dates of two of their most, important franchises. On one side we have Star Wars Episode IX, and on the other, the fifth adventure of Indiana Jones, which is now confirmed will feature the participation of Harrison Ford.

Star Wars Episode IX

Of course the one that most expectation provokes is the last of Star Wars, which will be in charge of closing this new trilogy. Episode IX will premiere on May 24, 2019 and will be directed by Colin Trevorrow.

It should be noted that if this date is kept, it will be the only one of the trilogy that would arrive for the summer season, since both Episode VII and VIII have been scheduled for the holiday season.

The idea of Disney with this new trilogy was to release them during the month of May with two years difference between each one, but the Episode VII, the first of this new trilogy had to be postponed , reason why in the end they were moving the dates . But apparently the last film in the trilogy will be available for the date raised from the start.

On the other hand, the plan is to see a movie based on the Star Wars universe between each movie in the new trilogy, so last year we had ‘Rogue One’ , this year we will have ‘Episode VIII’ , and the next one Spin-off of Han Solo , which will be released on May 25, 2018.

The Fifth Adventure of Indiana Jones

Also, after several rumors and delays, Disney is confirming that the fifth film of ‘Indiana Jones’ is confirmed with everything and Harrison Ford that will return once again to give life to the character of the explorer.

The film, still without official title, will be directed again by Steven Spielberg, now without the participation of George Lucas , and will be released next 10 of July of 2020 .

Now all that remains is to have the confirmation of the third film based on Star Wars universe , which is said to be about the story of Boba Fett, which should be released in 2020, a year after Episode IX and the same year we will see the Return from Indy.
