Nintendo revealed this morning several news related to the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. The company announced a global challenge for Super Mario Bros. 35, the Switch game.
The title with Battle Royale mechanics will challenge players around the world with a challenge that will be starred by none other than Bowser, the great villain of the franchise. There are good reasons to participate, as players can win an attractive prize.
Through a statement, Nintendo released all the details of this test, so we already know its exact start date, its duration, and its objectives.
THE GLOBAL CHALLENGE OF SUPER MARIO BROS. 35 WILL START SOON
Nintendo revealed the Super Mario Bros. 35 World Count Challenge, a special event that will be available for a limited time. As the name implies, this is a global challenge, so players must cooperate to win a prize.
The challenge will be held in total 3 times, between January and March of this year. The test consists of defeating 3.5 million Bowsers together. The first challenge will begin early on January 18 and will end on the 25th of the same month.
Defeated enemies will be counted in normal games and special battles, which this week will offer ideal levels to fight the villain. If the goal is met, all players who defeat at least 1 Bowser will receive a prize.
Nintendo will reward participants with 350 My Nintendo Platinum Points, which can be exchanged for rewards. The company will later reveal the details for the February and March challenges.
